A new website and a new name….

Yes….today is the day!  We are SO very excited to finally introduce you to our new brand and business, Nina & Wes Photography!

This has been a long time in the coming, and it has been worth the wait.  Over 7 years ago, Wes convinced me (nina) to photograph someone’s wedding.  I was terrified, but after all was said and done, the final result was not half bad.  At the time, Wes knew very little about photography, but as an artist at heart, he quickly grew in his photo-taking skills.  And over the last 7+ years, we have worked every single wedding together but one.  It has been an amazing adventure, and we have gone through so many changes since then.  About 2 years ago, we made the switch from digital to film, and haven’t looked back.  While we still shoot some digital here and there, film is our passion, and that is what makes our photographic hearts soar.  And so, after so many years of being Nina Mullins Photography, we say a bittersweet goodbye to our old name and brand, and welcome this new chapter of Nina & Wes Photography.

Meagan Tidwell is the amazing talent behind our new website and design.  If you are considering a new logo/design/website, just go ahead and call her…She’s amazing!  And when we first met to discuss what we wanted in our new brand, we stressed how much we wanted people to know about our love of not only photography, we wanted people to know of our love for each other, and how far we had come in our marriage to be at this point.  And since we got engaged in Norway (where my mother is from, and where I spent many childhood summer), and we have since been several times, and just renewed our vows there this past summer, we decided we wanted Norway to gently influence our new brand.  This is why you will see little hints of Norway throughout, such as blueberries, water, mountains, and anchors, to name a few.  We are in love with our new site, and to celebrate this new name, we thought we would share a few images from our time in Norway.  The photo above, and the first set of photos below were taken by the uber talented, Erich McVey, on the day of our vow renewal.
