California Coast :: Two girls and a road trip

Jessica Burke is a beautiful person and an amazing photographer, as well. When I told her that I was headed down the California coast, she volunteered to be my travel buddy. I was so thankful for this, because being the extroverted, people-person that I am, I was kind of dreading the long trip down the coast alone. So, being together for 5 days, 24 hours a day, there were lots of stories told, lots of secrets revealed (I discovered that Jessica was quite the connoisseur of rap music), lots of heavy conversations, and a lot of places visited. This post is just the first 24 hours together. We visited Big Sur (which decided to be covered in fog that day), saw some Red Woods, and ended up in Santa Barbara for the night, where we met up with the fabulous Lacie Hansen for dinner (apparently my photography brain shut off that night, because I have no pictures with Lacie).
